Online Planning Portal

We’ll create a planning portal to keep everything wedding-related in one place, accessible from anywhere you have an internet connection. Our clients use this portal to save inspiration photos, plan their budget, organize vendor agreements, schedule meetings and important dates, & plan the seating chart.

Vendor Suggestions Once the venue is booked, we’ll start assembling your wedding team: starting the major vendors. Contagious Events never accepts commissions or kickbacks from vendors, so we’ll be transparent in finding the best vendors for your day.

Here’s the complete list of what’s included:

Online Planning Portal We’ll create a planning portal to keep everything wedding-related in one place, accessible from anywhere you have an internet connection. Our clients use this portal to save inspiration photos, plan their budget, organize vendor agreements, schedule meeting with Vendors & Contract Review.

Once you book, we’ll take a look at all of your contracts to make sure everything looks in order. We’ll alert you to anything you’ll need to be aware of, and review payment dates and send you reminders.

Etiquette Guidance We’re not sticklers for etiquette, but we like to make sure our clients know what the “rules” are before we decide to bend them. We’ll help you navigate the wedding etiquette waters and make sure you don’t feel like you missed something big.

Complete Event Design It’s easy to pick out things you like… putting it all together into one cohesive design that actually works is another thing. We’ll help you design a swoon-worthy wedding that’ll look great in your photo album. Flowers are done in house but not included with this price.

Budget Management We will work with you to create a customized wedding design that works within your budget.

Attend Vendor Meetings Using your planning portal, we’ll coordinate and attend vendor meetings, as needed. We’re also happy to host the meetings at one of our offices, conveniently located in Portland or our Maine Mall location in South Portland.

Vendor Communication We’ll establish and maintain communication with all your vendors. Attend Vendor Meetings Using your planning portal, we’ll coordinate and attend vendor meetings,

Floor Plans We offer 2d and 3d floor plans for your convenience. We will literally walk you thru your event before you arrive.

Event Design | Floral | Props We are unique compared to our competition. We house over 6000 square feet of furniture, props, chandeliers, candles, backdrops, custom bars, farm tables, modern lounge furniture, french country lounge furniture, velvet glam lounge furniture and and entire fresh flower department. We will work with you to determine your style, color palette and overall aesthetic for your wedding.

Rehearsal. We are on site for your rehearsal with our Ceremony coordinator and assistant. 

Team. Your team will consist of a three amazing & talented ladies with a combined experience of 90 years. Your Event Designer & two full time planners.

CASUAL BASH

WEDDING DESIGN & PARTIAL MANAGEMENT PACKAGE

We hate the term “Day Of Coordinator.” It doesn’t come close to what you need in terms of expertise to get you through the final stages of planning and implementing your wedding or event without sweating the details and logistics. Work with one of our highly trained Associate Coordinators with a minimum of 5 years of experience and Laurie as your lead designer.

 

3-4 MONTHS prior to your event we will work with you to implement your event smoothly and effectively. to Build a relationship with your coordinator that allows you to gain the trust you need to release the reins of the logistics management!

Get your timeline prepared BEFORE your other vendors start reaching out with all their questions and go into the final phase of your planning in control of the details.

Base Inclusions for Event Design & Partial Management

Timeline Planning Meeting: 6 to 8 weeks to review all last minute details and logistics of event – walk thru at event venue to discuss floor plan, flow, etc if needed with caterer, venue contact and complete the comprehensive LAD event implementation detail checklist.

Logistics Coordination: Create a complete production and event timeline.

Final Touch Base Meeting: 1-2 weeks before the event go over all the details one last time with your coordinator, hand off your personal items, and sit back and relax as the big day approaches ·

Wedding Party Timeline: Create Specific timeline for wedding party – distribute and review at rehearsal or to a provided email list the week of the wedding.

Coordinate Decor and Design: Work with other relevant parties and assist with labor and all details for decor the day of the event to assure proper and timely execution. Fresh flowers are handled by our team at LAD

Advise on gratuities and reconfirm all event details the week of the event including set up and strike times, vendor meals, rider inclusions and details that will make the event run smoothly with no surprises! ·

Rehearsal: Director assist with rehearsal the day prior to the wedding, make announcements, distribute wedding party timelines, etc in conjunction with or in lieu of officiant

Production: 10 hours & day of event to supervise deliveries, set up, implementation and strike at the end of the event. ·

Manage all moving pieces of the event:Direction of vendors, attend guest needs and inquiries, troubleshoot challenging situations, etc Return Bridal Checklist Items to Bridal Suite prior to end of service – or pack in car of pre-designated friend or family member·
