A Story by the Sea: A Stunning Wedding to Remember

Every wedding has a story, and this one began at the ocean's edge and the couple's charming and nostalgic family restaurant, Joseph's by the Sea in Old Orchard Beach as the place to get ready for their special day.

Surrounded by the warmth of family and the serene backdrop of the coast, Rachel and Vanessa shared a heartfelt private vow ceremony, an intimate moment brimming with love and promise.

The celebration then moved to the chic and industrial Brick South at Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine, where an awe-inspiring ceremony unfolded. The setting was nothing short of magical, with thoughtful details that showcased the couple’s unique love story. This amazing seating chart was a family project and a labor of love.

Rachel worked closely with Laurie to transform the couple’s dream into reality, crafting a cohesive vision on every detail. From the lounge furniture that charmed guests to the vibrant tablescapes featuring different colors, every corner of the venue radiated personality and charm.

One of the show-stopping elements was the lighting and fabric draping, which added a sense of enchantment to the space. Rolling boxwood walls provided a lush and elegant touch while hiding the secret stage and green room for a surprise performance that would leave everyone in awe.

A surprise stage was hidden behind the rolling boxwood walls. Once American Idol star Will Mosley was announced, the walls were wheeled out all at once to reveal the performance.

And what a surprise it was! The evening came alive with an unexpected and electric performance by American Idol star William Mosely. His unforgettable set lit up the atmosphere and set the tone for a night filled with joy, laughter, and endless dancing.

We used the Father of the Brides antique truck for our crudites station and then turned it over for a dessert station with local potato chips from the family's friends in Aroostook County.

Rachel nailed it with the color choices for her and Vanessa's Bridal Party! It worked perfectly with the lounge furniture and backdrop for a cohesive look. This Bridal Party looks like it should be on the cover of a magazine.
